Seawolves Offense on Display In Fall Scrimmages

Rohnert Park, CA - The Sonoma Seawolves kicked off their fall lacrosse schedule with wins over Biola (17-2) and East Bay Athletic Club (13-8).  While scrimmages, the team had a nice chance to get on the field against another opponent for the first time this fall.

On Friday, the Seawolves battled Biola jumping out to a 5-0 lead early in the game and up 10-1 at halftime lead by goalie Jackson Feinstein's five saves.  The second half saw continued fight as the Eagles continued to apply pressure but Sonoma was up for the challenge.  Goalie Andrew Moore held down the fort giving up just 1 in the second half as the Seawolves rounded out the game with a 17-2 finish.

Less than 24 hours later the Seawolves battled the East Bay Athletic club.  Decorated with former high level players from the MCLA and NCAA, this was set to be a battle.  Early going it was back and forth as Sonoma jumped out to a 3-0 lead but East Bay notched one in a fast break to pull to 3-1.  Team traded goals ending in a 8-6 halftime lead for the Seawolves.  Going into the second half the defense buckled down and let the offense "do it's thing" as the team cruised to a 13-8 win.

The Seawolves are back on the practice field this week culminating with their final fall game on Friday against crosstown rival Dominican University.  Come out to support your Seawolves @ 4pm on Friday October 19.  Game is at Dominican.
