by Panchito Ojeda

Rohnert Park, CA– Long Stick Midfielder Reeve Watt from Northgate High School will be continuing his lacrosse and academic career at Sonoma State.  Reeve was recently named captain of his high school team and leads a young team into the next chapter of Northgate lacrosse.  “After several college visits and a lot of consideration, I am happy to say that I have chosen to attend Sonoma State University next fall. SSU has all the courses I am interested in and is located near home.” stated Watt.  “The opportunity to play on Sonoma State’s lacrosse team was the biggest factor in my decision. I like the team’s energy and work ethic; the team has fun while still playing hard. I am grateful and look forward to attending Sonoma State and contributing to the Blue Collar culture and all that it entails.”

“Reeve has great focus and is tenacious” said Head Coach Panchito Ojeda. “He will be a big contributor in between the boxes with his toughness and grit.  A true embodiment of the blue collar culture that has existed at Sonoma State for years.”

Reeve will be finishing his senior year at Northgate and attending Sonoma State fall of 2018.
