John Grant Coming To Sonoma State

Rohnert Park, CA–  Attackmen John Grant from Cardinal Newman High School will be continuing his academic and lacrosse career at Sonoma State.  John Grant is a captain for the Newman team this year as well as being one of the leading scorers.

“Throughout my high school career I’ve always known that I wanted to play lacrosse in college.”  said Grant “I also knew that my family was really close to me. I chose SSU because of the amazing opportunities that I could utilize to better myself as a player, friend, brother and a man.”

“John Grant is a blue collar player” said Head Coach Panchito Ojeda. “He is tough nosed, gritty, and does the intangibles to help his team on top of being a legit scoring threat.  John will fit in well with the blue collar culture here at Sonoma State.”
